I have been in the visual arts field for over 35 years. Nature is a major influence in my sculpture, painting and photography.                       My sculpture tends to be more abstract than realistic. I explore the characteristics of the media and develop a form that is in harmony with it.                                                                                                         Oils and acrylics are the medias I work with in my paintings. I use a palette knife that produces a sculptural quality with the paint to portray my subject matter.                                                               Photography allows me to capture the essence of the moment which I cannot achieve with other medias.                                                   The illustrations, renderings and graphics I produce are the commercial aspect of my art. The products I create are published in books, magazines and used in displays.                                                                   I have designed a line of cards and prints incorporating my photography and illustrations.
